WORKSHOPS FOR NOVEMBER 2007

Guests will choose one from a selection of four different workshops covering:

  • Crime

  • Historical

  • Contemporary Romance

  • Novels for Children

Each workshop will consist of six one hour sessions and will run from Friday evening, through Saturday and finish at lunchtime on Sunday.

 

1.  Crime Workshop with Lesley Horton

A series of six crime workshop sessions led by one of our expert and professional tutors. Guests are invited to submit first chapter and short synopsis of a crime novel to the tutor prior to the event to help gauge standard and pitch for the sessions, and sessions will encourage both individual and collective participation.

 

2.  Historical Workshop with Jane Pollard

A series of six historical workshop sessions led by one of our expert and professional tutors. Guests are invited to submit first chapter and short synopsis of an historical novel to the tutor prior to the event to help gauge standard and pitch for the sessions, and sessions will encourage both individual and collective participation.

 

3.  Contemporary Romance Workshop with Kate Walker

A series of six contemporary romance workshops led by one of our expert and professional tutors. Guests are invited to submit the first chapter and short synopsis of a contemporary romance novel to the tutor prior to the event to help gauge standard and pitch for the sessions, and sessions will encourage both individual and collective participation.

 

4.  Children’s Novel Workshop with tba

A series of children’s novel workshop sessions led by one of our expert and professional tutors.  Guests are invited to submit the first chapter and short synopsis of a novel for children to the tutor prior to the event to help gauge standard and pitch for the sessions, and sessions will encourage both individual and collective participation.
